ITK announces major restructuring
Key changes at ITK
Based on our continued growth and development over the past 18 months, we are pleased to announce several significant changes effective immediately:
Merger with Alta CX
Alta CX is a small business applications provider based in Calgary. They share much in common with ITK. Both companies leverage the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Office 365 and Azure platform to build solutions for clients. ITK has significant experience with the Property Management, Frontline worker, and Contact Centre domains, while Alta CX has deep experience in the Energy / Oilfield Services industry sector, QHSE and Operations business application areas.
This merger will mean that David Fettig, the Founder of Alta CX can spend more time focusing on his latest product development venture, Cosmos Forms. This latter company is aimed at the next generation of mobile based forms tailored to the frontline worker.
"It was taxing doing two things at once, so this merger means that I can still keep a foot in Alta CX on the business development side, while speeding up the development and commercialization of Cosmos Forms which has generated a lot of interest" said David Fettig. "I have known David Crouch for years, and it will be good to be working together as Alta CX, an ITK company."
With this merger, ITK will be expanding operations into the Alberta marketplace, using Calgary as a beach-head. "Alberta is a natural progression for us", stated Bob Bell, CEO of ITK, "And the timing of this is perfect from our perspective as well. Alta CX already has customers across Alberta and we will now have a Calgary-based office to leverage the competencies of both companies."
Vancouver & Calgary are the hubs for ITK's Western Canada expansion
ITK will now also have three different business units going forward to provide a full range of solutions to customers and prospects:
Projects group: Providing planning, design and implementation services to provide digital solutions for the modern workplace
Managed Services group: Providing on going support, maintenance, and enhancement for Microsoft-based digital solutions
Products group: Providing specialized line of business or functional solutions, and quick-start implementation packages
"We have been planning this vision for some time and the merger with Alta CX helps us bring it forward more quickly", comments Doug McLachlan, VP of Consulting. "ITK has great strengths on the project side of the business while Alta CX has more experience with managed services and products. Together we form a symbiotic whole."
All of these groups' solutions are based on the Microsoft Business Applications and third party ecosystem. This world leading integrated platform means that literally any business enterprise - large or small - can quickly deploy and continuously upgrade digital solutions that add value to customers, employees, partners, and stakeholders.
New Product Announcement
A key part of this restructuring is the announcement of a new product initiative in the Real Estate industry. We have been working with a charter customer for the past 3 years developing and enhancing a Property Management solution and we are now preparing to bring this solution to the market. "Our solution is perfect for small and medium sized residential property management firms, especially those that are investor owned and operated", says David Crouch, VP, Client and Digital Services. "The integration of Dynamics 365, Office 365 and D365 Portals makes outstanding digital capabilities available at a reasonable cost." The product will be listed on AppSource shortly and available by the end of the summer. It will have a number of unique features and should appeal to companies who are Microsoft customers and interested in one fully integrated solution to handle the full range of their Property Management requirements.
"It has been an eventful last 18 months and we expect to be making more announcements soon as we progress towards our vision of being the largest independent Dynamics CE partner in Western Canada", concludes Bob Bell.
